Shaping the Future of Child Protection: A Creative Unity with NSPCC

At YOKE, we’ve always believed that creativity has the power to spark meaningful change. And when that creativity aligns with a cause as important as child protection, the impact is nothing short of transformative. So, when NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) reached out to us to be part of their creative roster, we couldn’t have been more honoured. It’s not every day you’re invited to join forces with a charity that’s dedicated to safeguarding childhood and ensuring every child grows up in a safe, nurturing environment.

For over 130 years, NSPCC has been at the forefront of protecting children across the UK. Their mission is clear: to prevent abuse, support children, and protect childhood. From their NSPCC Helpline, to their educational resources for schools, to their campaigns that tackle abuse head-on, they’ve been leading the change. With their headquarters in London and operations across the UK, they provide critical support, advocacy, and resources for children, families, and communities in need.

But as NSPCC’s work continues to evolve, so too do the ways we support them. The year of 2024 has been one of progress for NSPCC—responding to over 75,000 calls through their helpline, launching new educational initiatives, and advancing their digital strategy to protect children in online spaces. These efforts have been vital in keeping up with the ever-changing digital landscape where young people spend much of their time.

We’re incredibly excited to support and develop NSPCC’s digital campaigns. With the ongoing rise of online child protection issues, NSPCC is taking bold steps to educate and protect children and parents from potential harm. We’re going to be working closely with them to create fresh, engaging content that speaks to a wide audience, one that not only provides crucial safety tips, but also resonates with how people engage with content today.

But we’re not stopping there. At YOKE, we’re always exploring new ways to push the envelope. In this collaboration, we’re looking to incorporate innovative technologies such as augmented reality and take full advantage of diverse social platforms. Whether through interactive digital experiences or creative social campaigns, our goal is to assist NSPCC in delivering their message in ways that feel fresh, relevant, and impactful for today’s digital landscape and support them in their incredible work.
